For those who have devoted their lives vocationally
in service to Christ, the Christian Churches Pension
Plan is a reliable part of a diversified and secure
financial retirement strategy.

Our History

For more than 55 years, the Christian Churches Pension Plan has responded to the need for adequate retirement funding for ministers, missionaries, as well as the employees of churches, Christian colleges, and various faith-based non-profit ministries. From an idea and a faithful few who dared to dream, the Christian Churches Pension Plan has grown to serving thousands of participants and hundreds of churches, missions, colleges, and non-profit ministries.

Leadership

The CCPP is operated as a qualified retirement plan under Section 401(a) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Plan maintains a qualified staff overseeing the daily operations of and providing capable leadership for the Plan. The Chief Executive Officer/Plan Administrator, appointed by the Board of Governors, manages the Plan’s day-to-day affairs.

Todd Beale – CEO/Administrator

It is my honor to serve you as the Chief Executive Officer/Administrator of the Christian Churches Pension Plan.

I served on the Board of Governors for the CCPP from 2013 to 2023. Over those 10 years, the plan faithfully served our participants, and is now in a very strong position. I intend to continue our growth and viability.

Before taking this responsibility, I served as a preacher in New Palestine, Indiana, for almost 22 years. Before that, I served churches in Illinois, Iowa, and Kansas. But my education is in business management and marketing. I worked in advertising for a few years before answering God’s call into vocational ministry.

I grew up in the Christian Church, graduated from Manhattan Christian College (B.S. Bible-Christian Service) and Kansas State University (B.S. Business Management, and M.B.A. with marketing emphasis), and have served in Christian Churches full time since 1996. That is also the year I bought my first unit of the Christian Churches Pension Plan.

I am convinced that CCPP is one of the best financial investments a minister can make in preparation for retirement. Retirement from vocational ministry does not mean we stop doing ministry. And the CCPP helps provide financial security so that we are free to pursue the different ministries that God calls us to when we retire.
